Samatha was a pleasure to deal with as was the installation technician who came on time, completed the work to a high standard and cleaned up when finished. We just had 2 Sunteca block-out blinds installed into our apartment in Manly one in our guest bedroom to block out a street light and a very long 2.5 metre automatic blind in the master bedroom. Samantha and her dad Richard  came to quote  and they came up with a much better solution than we had thought of for our master bedroom. The quality is exceptional and the fabric choices were varied and exactly what we were after.
The installation process by Trent was excellent. We ordered the blinds just before Xmas 2024 and they were installed today 27th January 2025,  given the closures over Xmas this was much earlier than we expected.
We would highly recommend Sunteca as we did get other quotes and the others were more than double the cost.
We are very excited about waking up tomorrow morning to a darkened room.

Do skylight blinds actually keep the heat out?

Yes. A quality Sunteca skylight blind will significantly reduce heat transfer by creating a barrier between the glass and the room below. For Sydney homes, honeycomb or cellular skylight blinds are often the strongest option because their air pockets help slow heat movement, making the room feel cooler in summer and more comfortable year-round.

Do skylight blinds block out light completely?

Can skylight blinds be fitted to existing skylights?
